DTM
A SUCCESS STORY

Since 1984, the DTM has stood for competition at the highest level and enjoys an international reputation as one of the most important racing series. Mercedes-Benz's official return to motorsport four years later marked the beginning of our success story in this legendary championship. Twelve drivers' titles, 14 team titles and 16 manufacturers' championships make up our impressive record.
2026 SEASON
For our ‘DTM Champion 2026’ mission, we are once again fielding a top-class line-up of teams and drivers this season. Mercedes-AMG Team Landgraf is competing with DTM runner-up Lucas Auer. His team-mate is Tom Kalender, who made a successful debut last year as the youngest driver in the DTM. Winward Racing is also fielding a proven duo: Maro Engel, last year’s third-place finisher, and Jules Gounon, who is also one of the most renowned drivers in international GT Racing. They compete under the Mercedes-AMG Team RAVENOL and the Mercedes-AMG Team MANN-FILTER banner.
This season, all four Mercedes-AMG GT3s are turning heads with their designs. Lucas Auer’s #22 Mercedes-AMG GT3 features an iconic design that we developed in collaboration with our official partner, adidas. Tom Kalender’s car (#84) sports a striking red and white livery provided by spare parts specialist febi. Jules Gounon drives the legendary MANN-FILTER ‘Mamba’ with starting number 48. Maro Engel’s car bears a RAVENOL anniversary design. The central element is the cheetah, the world’s fastest land animal, alongside the starting number 80 to mark the 80th anniversary of the lubricant manufacturer.

2025
16TH MANUFACTURERS' CHAMPIONSHIP
With nine manufacturers taking part, the 2025 DTM season sets a new record for the GT3 era. Despite the fierce competition, our four Mercedes-AMG GT3s secured two wins, nine further podium finishes, two pole positions and three fastest race laps. The consistent points-scoring results secured the 16th manufacturers’ title for Mercedes-AMG Motorsport. Lucas Auer finishes second overall with 188 points, just four points behind the champion. Maro Engel ends the season in third place in the drivers’ standings.

2024
15th manufacturers' championship
Four Mercedes-AMG GT3s compete in the 2024 season, securing no fewer than 13 podium finishes in the 16 races. Thanks to the consistently good results, we celebrate our 15th DTM manufacturers' championship at the end of the season. Maro Engel from Mercedes-AMG Team Winward clinches seven podium finishes in his most successful DTM season to date, fights for the drivers' title until the final race weekend and finishes third in the championship.

2021
Successful start into a new era
The use of GT3 cars from 2021 marks the beginning of a new era in the DTM. And in its first season under the new regulations, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 immediately lives up to its successful predecessors: the five Customer Racing Teams from Affalterbach take a total of six race wins. Maximilian Götz achieves three of them, entering his name in the history books as the first DTM drivers' champion of the new era. At the same time, we secure our 14th manufacturers' title.

2018
Three farewell titles
In 2018, we celebrate our 30th DTM season by securing all three possible championships in our anniversary year: Gary Paffett takes the drivers' title, Mercedes-AMG Motorsport PETRONAS finishes first in the team classification and the trophy for the best manufacturer also goes to Affalterbach. It is the perfect farewell for our Mercedes-AMG C63 DTM before Mercedes-AMG Motorsport retires from the sprint series at the end of the season.

2006
Record champion Bernd Schneider
Bernd Schneider wins his fifth DTM title with the AMG-Mercedes C-Class - an unrivalled milestone in the history of the series. The German finishes all ten races in the top five and is crowned DTM champion for the fifth time after 1995, 2000, 2001 and 2003. His Vodafone/Salzgitter AMG-Mercedes team wins the team classification.
