FIA GT WORLD CUP
RECORD HOLDER IN THE STREETS OF MACAU
The FIA GT World Cup on the streets of Macau is one of the most prestigious events in the GT3 category. Since 2008, races with GT3 cars have been held as part of the Macau Grand Prix on the legendary Guia Circuit. In 2015, the event was awarded the FIA title for the first time.
We are the most successful manufacturer in Macau's 17-year GT3 history with a total of nine wins and five manufacturers' titles. Since 2019, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 has been unbeaten on the Asian metropolis' challenging street circuit.
2025 FIA GT World Cup
The eighth edition of the FIA GT World Cup will take place from 13 to 16 November at the Guia Circuit. For the first time, a Super Pole will be held in 2025, with the ten fastest drivers completing two flying laps each. Otherwise, the weekend structure will remain unchanged: A 12-lap qualifying race on Saturday will be followed by the 16-lap main race on Sunday. Traditionally, the Greater Bay Area GT Cup is part of the supporting programme. Asia's biggest GT4 event will be the season finale of the newly established SRO GT Cup for the first time in 2025.

Record win for Maro Engel
The FIA GT World Cup as part of the 71st Macau Grand Prix marks the latest milestone in our history at the prestigious GT3 race on the Guia Circuit. After finishing fourth in the qualifying race, Maro Engel drives to victory in an eventful main race. He takes advantage of the rainy conditions to celebrate his fourth success in Macau with the Mercedes-AMG GT3 of the Mercedes-AMG Team GMR from Hong Kong. He thus equals the previous sole record holder Edoardo Mortara, who achieved one of his triumphs with Mercedes-AMG in 2017.

Perfect finish: Raffaele Marciello wins his last race for Mercedes-AMG
After seven successful years together, Raffaele Marciello contests his last race as an official Mercedes-AMG Performance Driver with Mercedes-AMG Team Landgraf at the FIA GT World Cup in Macau. He concludes the success story with a perfect weekend: Best time in first practice, second place in second practice, track record in qualifying (2m 14.542s) and lights-to-flag victories in the qualifying and main race. He is the first driver to win the FIA GT World Cup twice - and also the first driver to successfully defend his title in Macau. In the qualifying race, Maro Engel completes a double victory in second place. The manufacturers' title also goes to Mercedes-AMG.

2017
First Macau victory for the Mercedes-AMG GT3
After two triumphs for the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 also adds its name to the list of winners of the challenging road race in 2017. Pole-sitter Edoardo Mortara and the Mercedes-AMG Team Driving Academy celebrate a commanding lights-to-flag victory on the wet Guia Circuit. This is Edoardo Mortara's fourth Macau victory and his first for Mercedes-AMG. Two-time winner Maro Engel sets the fastest lap. He makes the most of the turbulent race to move up from eighth on the grid to third.

2014
First-time success for Mercedes-AMG
The seventh edition of the GT3 race in Macau is also the second with the participation of Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing. Four Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3s are entered in the high-calibre field of 31 cars. After finishing fourth in qualifying, Maro Engel clinches victory in the main race for the Mercedes-AMG Team Driving Academy. It is the first success on the demanding street circuit for both him and our Customer Racing programme. With second place, his team-mate Renger van der Zande completes a double success in this iconic race.
