Intercontinental GT Challenge
BEST OF ENDURANCE
The Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC), inaugurated in 2016, has rapidly become a prestigious global GT racing series, encompassing a carefully selected roster of internationally esteemed endurance events within its calendar. These have included the Bathurst 12 Hour and the 24 Hours of Spa right from the start. The 24h Nürburgring has also been part of the IGTC since 2024. The intercontinental racing series is organised by the SRO Motorsports Group and, in addition to the drivers’ and manufacturers’ classification, also includes the Independent Cup for amateur drivers.
2025 season
In 2025, the racing calendar once again includes five endurance classics on four continents. The season kicks off with the Bathurst 12 Hour, followed by a European double-header featuring the 24-hour races at the Nürburgring (19–22 June) and Spa-Francorchamps (26–29 June). After a five-year break, the series returns to the Suzuka International Racing Course (12–14 September). The season concludes at the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway (16–18 October).

2023
Double title defence
In the 2023 season, we successfully defend the title in the drivers’ and manufacturers’ standings. SunEnergy1 Racing celebrates overall victory at the season opener in Bathurst. AKKODIS ASP Team finishes second at the 24 Hours of Spa. Mercedes-AMG Team Craft-Bamboo Racing and Mercedes-AMG Team GruppeM Racing achieve a double podium at the Indianapolis 8 Hour with second and third place. The victory of Mercedes-AMG Team GruppeM Racing at the Gulf 12 Hours secures us the manufacturers' title once again. Mercedes-AMG Performance driver Jules Gounon wins the drivers' championship.

2022
Intercontinental masterpiece
After three wins from four races, we secure the manufacturers' title for the first time in 2022. SunEnergy1 Racing, Mercedes-AMG Team Craft-Bamboo Racing and Triple Eight Race Engineering get the season off to the perfect start with the first one-two-three victory for a manufacturer at Bathurst. This is followed by a one-two victory at the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps by Mercedes-AMG Team AKKODIS ASP and Mercedes-AMG Team GetSpeed. In the USA, the winning streak continues with a victory for Mercedes-AMG Team Craft-Bamboo Racing at the Indianapolis 8 Hour. Daniel Juncadella becomes our second IGTC drivers' champion after Tristan Vautier in 2018.

2018
Subscripted to success
In the third IGTC season, we win the drivers' championship for the first time. Tristan Vautier finishes on the podium in Bathurst, Spa-Francorchamps and Laguna Seca with various teams and achieves overall victory in Suzuka with Mercedes-AMG Team GruppeM Racing. Thanks to these top-three finishes in all four endurance races, the Frenchman brings the first IGTC drivers' title to Affalterbach. Kenny Habul also wins the drivers' championship in the Bronze classification. We also finish second in the manufacturers' championship, just eleven points off first place.
