Growing up in Queens, Nigel Sylvester became interested in BMX: The sport provided a maximum of freedom since all he needed was a passable surface. His passion drove Sylvester to first become a pro and then world famous.

BMX pro from Queens

Today, Nigel Sylvester's YouTube channel has half a million followers. In his celebrated videos, he crisscrosses the world's inner cities. Sometimes he daringly rides through a hair salon or spontaneously takes a break to play basketball with friends.
 
BMX wasn't an obvious choice for a New Yorker because. Unlike skateboarding, BMX wasn't that common. „People didn't understand at first: a BMX pro from Queens?“ Nigel recalls with a laugh.

After browsing his memories, Nigel Sylvester looks at the red AMG G 63 G-wagon in front of him. The performance brand, and the G 63 model in particular, are a perfect fit for sportsman Nigel Sylvester, who earns his living by performing to his limits in the toughest conditions.

What Nigel thrives on

Dreams become reality

“For people who grew up in Queens a Mercedes-Benz is something to work towards”, Nigel says. Being owner of the car now illustrates, how far he has come but also how far he can still go: collaborations with brands like Mercedes-AMG show: Nigel thrives on the freedom to do what he wants and is driven by turning passion into opportunities. One of them is invaluable: “Nothing fulfils me like riding my bike super fast through the city“ he says.

[2] Die angegebenen Werte sind die ermittelten WLTP-CO2-Werte i.S.v. Art. 2 Nr. 3 Durchführungsverordnung (EU) 2017/1153. Die Kraftstoffverbrauchswerte wurden auf Basis dieser Werte errechnet. Stromverbrauch [und Reichweite] wurde[n] auf Grundlage der VO 2017/1151/EU ermittelt.

[3] Alle Angaben sind vorläufig und wurden intern nach Maßgabe der Zertifizierungsmethode „WLTP-Prüfverfahren“ ermittelt. Es liegen bislang weder bestätigte Werte einer amtlich anerkannten Prüforganisation noch eine EG-Typgenehmigung noch eine Konformitätsbescheinigung mit amtlichen Werten vor. Abweichungen zwischen den Angaben und den amtlichen Werten sind möglich.

[4] Gemäß WLTP. Stromverbrauch und Reichweite wurden auf Grundlage der VO 2017/1151/EU ermittelt.
