It's the moment we've all been waiting for! Join Cornelius and David in the exciting conclusion of the engine building journey at AMG in Part 3 of the engine manufactury special of INSIDE AMG.

Continuing from where we left off, Cornelius and David methodically assemble additional engine components, including the crankshaft, Lanchester linkage, main bearing bridges, and more. Precision is key as they inspect the sealing ring before injecting sealing compound into the control housing cover. Simultaneously, they complete the primary drive assembly by installing control gears and sliding rails. Cornelius takes the reins, personally fitting the control housing cover. As all components fall into place, and every inspection gate is successfully passed, it's time for the final steps.

The engine undergoes a cold test to ensure it's in peak condition. And in an unforgettable moment, Cornelius is bestowed with the honor of signing the engine's badge.

The heart of each AMG vehicle is right under the hood - this is why host Cornelius takes you on a journey through the process of engine building at AMG in the latest Episode of INSIDE AMG.

Cornelius meets several experts and experiences how the engine builders are trained and qualified at AMG. Cutting-edge technologies like computer learning and AR are utilized as a part of this process. Cornelius even dares to try his hand at screwing on the control housing.

Cornelius’ next stop is the Four-Cylinder Engine Manufactory, where engine building supervisor David is waiting. Together, they prepare everything they need to begin the engine assembly process. Cornelius gets hands-on, applying the knowledge he learned from Qualification Island to understand and participate in every step of the engine’s creation.

What does it take to drive a race car on the track? And most importantly, can it be learned in a day?

Host Felix takes on the challenge and travels to the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona for the latest episode of #INSIDEAMG to learn about braking points, apex, ideal line, and more while driving. Maro Engel and Gabriele Piana, two accomplished race car drivers, provide him with assistance. Within a day, he completes his first laps with the Mercedes-AMG GT3, one of the most successful race cars. After some race track action comes the analysis of the driving data - how did Felix fare in the race car?

Time to get to work! Under Jaden's guidance, Felix builds a water pump on a power unit. Can he do it as well as the pros? Next, Adam takes Felix to the Hyper Technical Centre to show him how the 2015 F1 engine became the power unit for the legendary AMG ONE.

This episode begins in the paint shop, where Felix meets Faye. She shows him how much dexterity is needed to paint the Mercedes star on a car.

The next highlight of this episode awaits Felix in the Silver Arrow Lounge: it is none other than James Allison, the technical genius behind the Formula 1 team. The two talk about engineering excellence, performance and how to overcome challenges. Then it's time for one last department: Felix enters the legendary Race Support Room, where information from the track arrives in real time and allows the team to make strategic decisions without being on site.

We start with the letter A. Acceleration is the subject of the very first episode. Linda Schierling (Mercedes-AMG Gearbox Calibration Specialist) is our first guest. Watch as she and Felix dive into the theory and practice of designing a car that can go from 0 to 100 km/h as fast as possible. 

It's getting technical! To dive in the topic of cylinders, Felix meets Jens (Engineer base engine development V6 / V8 / V12 - Mercedes-AMG) for the third INSIDE AMG episode. 

Exterior Design is the subject of the fifth INSIDE AMG episode – together with Vitalis, Peter and Csaba (all exterior designers at Mercedes-AMG) we take a look at some of the important steps taken in the vehicle development process and witness how design comes to life with the all-new Mercedes-AMG GT3.

G stands for the Green Hell! In our latest episode of INSIDE AMG, we join our experts Felix and Markus to take a look at how this historic raceway still influences vehicle development for our complete product lineup.

G-Class fans, pay attention! For this episode, Felix embarks on a very special journey – to the birthplace of the Mercedes-AMG G-Class in Graz. After glimpsing the first ever Mercedes-AMG G-Classes on a tour through the Mercedes-AMG archives with Michael, he tests his limits with the Mercedes-AMG G 63 at the G-Class Experience Center under the guidance of instructor Marc Sussner. Will Felix master the on-road challenges? Watch and find out! 

After trying out the on-road exercises in part one of Episode J, Marc and Felix leave the tarmac and go off-road at the Mercedes-Benz G-Klasse Experience Center in Graz. Felix tackles the water crossing, the infamous Schöckl trail and a mud bath in the Mercedes-Benz G 500 before taking on a 100% uphill challenge in the Mercedes-AMG G 63. As a special surprise, the G 63 AMG 6x6 is waiting for him at the end. Time for some action!

Milestone reached! In this special edition we look back on the successful record lap on the Nürburgring. Felix was on the scene at the Nürburgring test center in the run-up to the record attempt and met the experts for a detailed interview. In conversation with motorsport experts Markus, Dirk and Maro, Felix finds out just how much racing DNA is built into the GT. 

The E-Class has a rich history at Mercedes-AMG. And one of the most memorable models is the Mercedes-Benz E 50 AMG. Felix and Michael, our expert from the Mercedes-AMG archive in Affalterbach, take a close look at the model from 25 years ago. Of course, the current Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4MATIC+ is not to be missed either. Will Felix be allowed to take over the wheel of the E 50 AMG and win the challenge? Watch the video and find out!

In the latest episode of INSIDE AMG, experts Frank and Bernhard give Felix the technical lowdown - from the historic wheel design of the 1971 Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.8 AMG to the wheels of the Mercedes-AMG Project ONE. Can Felix persuade them to reveal a secret or two about where wheels are headed in the future?

In the latest episode of INSIDE AMG, Felix meets the two fastest members of the AMG family: Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas. As befits good hosts, we prepare a full day of surprises for our guests. Valtteri helps to build an AMG engine and, accordingly, is permitted to sign one of the famous AMG badges. Meanwhile, Felix and Lewis discuss the parallels between Lewis' career and the development of AMG as a brand as well as the huge steps AMG has taken in the field of E PERFORMANCE. With Jan (Team and Customer Management) as his guide, he gets exclusive insights behind the scenes of the celebrated motorsports event. The two take a look at the Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.8 AMG, the car that delivered Mercedes-AMG's winning performances 50 years ago and propelled the AMG Motorsport Team to world fame. In addition, Felix attends the strategy meeting of the Strategy Control Team, receives some expert advice from SRO Motorsports Group CEO Stéphane Ratel on tire choice and weather situation, and meets drivers before their races. What are their pre-race rituals and their strategies for winning? Watch to find out!

This episode of INSIDE AMG dives deep into virtual motorsports – the third pillar of Mercedes-AMG Motorsport alongside F1 and GT racing. After his arrival in Affalterbach, Felix meets the project manager for Mercedes-AMG Virtual Motorsport Jan to talk about professional sim racing and how to turn digital racing into an actual career. He then gets to know Alex, the Project Lead Gaming, E-Sport & Virtual Motorsport. The two of them take a closer look at the hardware of a high-end racing simulation. They also discuss the detailed software while GT racing driver Raffaele Marcello shares his learning experiences with the simulation in comparison to physical race driving. Finally time for Felix to get behind the steering wheel himself: Coached by the F1 E-Sports pro champion Jarno Opmeer, he takes on Raffaele’s challenge. 55 years of AMG - that’s 55 years of passion, precision and efficiency! 

To celebrate this anniversary, David Coulthard, our host for this episode, is at the Circuito del Jarama in Spain to meet up with well-known members of the world’s fastest family and take a look at the special cars that have shaped the AMG brand over the past five and a half decades and changed the game in many aspects. 

As well as getting up close with extraordinary AMG models from past and present, David has the chance to enjoy some rapid laps around the track. Lucky that he brought his helmet! The speed theme continues as David meets Lewis Hamilton - a man who knows fast cars better than most - and together, the two dive deep into the history of AMG and take two fantastic AMG models for a spin. What could be more special than seeing the Red Pig in action alongside one of our newest family members? Finally, we're thrilled to be joined not only by Lewis Hamilton but by two more special guests for AMG's 55th birthday: David also talks to the outstanding artist and fellow AMG Ambassador will.i.am and to the former racing driver Bernd Schneider, aka "Mr. DTM". In the latest episode of INSIDE AMG, Felix spends a weekend at the world's greatest celebration of motorsports and car culture: the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Together with Adam Christodoulou, winner of the 2016 24h Nürburgring and co-host of this episode, he explores the automotive wonderland, takes in some drift action and talks to well known faces from the automotive scene. Afterwards, it's time for a mountain race - the legendary Goodwoo "hillclimb" - in three AMG supercars. Buckle up for some exciting showruns!
