The Performance Plus training course teaches you the key basics on ice and snow and shows you how quickly a sense of respect for the surface can turn into genuine confidence on the slopes.

Taking an AMG across a frozen lake is unforgettable – a moment when control meets adrenaline, and driving turns into passion. On specially prepared ice tracks, you’ll learn how to handle our high-performance vehicles with precision, fine-tuning your instincts and mastering every drift.

At the wheel of the latest Mercedes-AMG models – with powerful engines, precision-tuned suspension and studded tyres – you’ll feel a level of control that redefines driving. From rear-wheel to all-wheel drive, every input is immediate — every reaction, unmistakable.

Drift through every curve in our cars such as the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Coupé. The rear axle lags deliberately, grip fades – yet you carve through with unwavering control. In the quiet expanse of Arjeplog, you’ll come to understand what performance on Ice truly means.

Throughout the experience, our expert instructors are by your side. In small groups, you’ll take turns at the wheel, receiving direct and personal feedback that helps you progress with every lap.

After a day of ice and adrenaline, the AMG Lodge welcomes you with warm hospitality, Scandinavian comfort and panoramic views of untouched snowfields and the shimmering Northern Lights or enjoy the small spa area with a sauna and hot tub. Unwind over two nights of comfort, fine dining and unforgettable moments – as part of the World’s Fastest Family.

Requirements:

You need a German class B driving licence, a European driving licence or an international driving licence. You must be at least 18 years old to take part in Performance Plus training.
