Powertrain
A POWERHOUSE IN A COMPACT FORM
The CLA 45 4MATIC+ marks the compact-class debut of a groundbreaking powertrain innovation from Affalterbach. Axial flux technology is deployed in three motors: two on the rear axle and one at the front. Up to 500 kW (680 hp) can be called on time and again. The fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system distributes torque continuously between the axles and individually between the rear wheels. The result: concentrated power delivered to the road with exceptional precision.
Aerodynamics
WELCOMING THE HEADWIND
As speed increases, airflow becomes an active part of the driving dynamics. At lower speeds, the active roof-edge spoiler remains seamlessly integrated into the roofline. Depending on the selected drive programme, vehicle speed and longitudinal acceleration, it automatically adopts the ideal position to enhance stability or reduce drag and extend range. At the same time, the active radiator fins can remain fully closed at speeds of up to almost 250 km/h, depending on cooling demand.
AMG driving dynamics
FROM COMFORT TO UNCOMPROMISING PERFORMANCE
How sharp you want the drive to feel is up to you. With up to seven AMG DYNAMIC SELECT drive programmes, the all-new CLA 45 adapts to the situation at hand: composed in Comfort, direct in Sport, multisensory in AMGFORCE S+ and, with the optional AMG DYNAMIC PLUS Package, fully track-focused in the RACE programme. The adaptive AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension reacts in milliseconds at each wheel, delivering tangible agility and the signature AMG driving experience.
Charging
FEWER STOPS – MORE THRILLS BEHIND THE WHEEL
Every second counts, even during charging stops. The 800-volt architecture enables charging power of up to 330 kW, taking the battery charge level from 10 to 80 per cent in 22 minutes. Ten minutes is enough to add more than 270 kilometres of range. The standard multi-source heat pump conditions the battery for rapid charging while on the move. More than 640 kilometres of WLTP range means fewer stops and more road ahead.

DYNAMISM TAKES SHAPE
Its athletic character is drawn into every contour. The AMG-specific radiator grille with ten vertical struts, the slim headlamps and the front splitter give the all-electric compact sports car a particularly low and imposing road presence. The widened front wings, shark nose and power domes sharpen its proportions. Its elongated, flowing roofline and active roof-edge spoiler lend the silhouette its distinctive dynamism. The standard 19-inch light-alloy wheels or optional 20-inch light-alloy and forged wheels underline its dynamic credentials. At the rear, the AMG rear apron and six-fin diffuser provide a powerful finishing touch.

ITS CHARACTER – YOUR SIGNATURE
Its character is set. How this Mercedes-AMG CLA presents itself is up to you. The optional MANUFAKTUR Patagonia red paint finish, combined with the 20-inch light-alloy wheels in Himalayan Grey, showcases its sporty nature particularly well. A wide range of paint finishes, wheel designs and brake callipers in selected colours offer even greater scope for personalisation. The AMG Night Package I accentuates the design language with high-gloss black accents. The AMG Night Package II accentuates exclusive details in dark chrome.

SPORTING THROUGH TO THE SECOND ROW
Every detail in the interior is focused on the driver. The anatomically sculpted sports seats provide firm lateral support. The standard ARTICO man-made leather upholstery with a Nappa-look finish and black MICROCUT microfibre features characteristic AMG accents with red topstitching. The AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather and the AMG steering-wheel buttons place key functions within immediate reach. The dedicated four-seat layout extends the uncompromising sporting experience to the rear.
AMGFORCE S+
GOOSEBUMPS GUARANTEED
Here, performance becomes a full-body experience. The AMGFORCE S+ driving programme recreates the emotion of a high-performance AMG four-cylinder engine for the electric era. To replicate its sound digitally, 13 microphones captured more than 1,600 individual measurements. Simulated gearshifts with torque interruption, manual gear changes via the steering-wheel paddles, the rev counter, gear indicator and standard seat shakers make acceleration audible, visible and physically tangible. In short: a truly multisensory AMG moment.
