The exclusive forged wheels of the Mercedes-AMG S 65 Coupe feature an unusual, fascinating design: each of the 16 spokes runs in a special curve, so that the highlighted edges run to the center of the hub. The effect: the wheel appears to be larger than its actual dimensions of 8.5 J x 20 (front) and 9.5 J x 20 (rear). High-gloss ceramic polishing further adds to an exclusive look.

The 6.0-liter AMG V12 Biturbo engine guarantees sovereign performance levels with an output of 463 kW (630 HP) and a maximum torque of 1000 newton-meters; the S 65 accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, and its top speed is around 250 km/h (electronically limited; with AMG Driver‘s Package: 300 km/h). Stylish driving comfort, immense pulling power, and effortless power development in all speed ranges are paired with cultivated engine behavior and the striking V12 sound typical of the AMG.

The 6.0-liter V12 Biturbo engine operates hand in hand with the AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 7G transmission. This seven-speed automatic gearbox offers a wide spread of gear ratios for a significantly lower rotational speed. This contributes significantly to a reduction in fuel consumption. The fuel economy transducer, reduced-friction bearings, and gear oil heat management all increase power transmission efficiency significantly.

The AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 7G transmission features four individual driving programs, which can be selected using a button in the center console: Controlled Efficiency (C), Sport (S), Sport Plus (S+) and Curve. The additional program “M” allows manual gear shifting in a sporty driving mode.

The Mercedes-AMG S 65 Coupe features the exclusive AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension. And it adjusts itself to bumps in the road before you even drive over them. To this end, the system combines the active suspension of the chassis with continuously adjustable dampers. A stereo camera precisely detects the road ahead, in order to optimally adjust the damping of each individual wheel to unevenness ahead.

Thanks to the standard curve tilt function, the body of the vehicle tends to incline inwards by up to 2.65° in curves. This significantly reduces the lateral forces felt and increases driving comfort; especially on country roads.

An optimal addition is AMG's electromechanical sports parameter steering with variable steering ratio. This increases the handling and agility of the car significantly, while driving safety is maintained at high speeds.

When the chassis is in Comfort mode, the AMG sports parameter steering is easy, that is, it offers a higher level of steering assistance. In Sport mode, on the other hand, the driver feels a firm, sporty level of steering assistance, which, combined with the sporty adaptation of the chassis, provides the driver with more direct feedback for agile driving on bends.
