GT Family

As in all vehicles of the GT family, the front mid-engine configuration of the Mercedes-AMG GT and intelligent aluminum lightweight construction deliver the basis for a superlative driving experience. With its dynamic transmission modes and intelligent assistance systems, you can adapt this sports car perfectly to your temperament and everyday life.

You press the start button, the 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine with dry sump lubrication springs into life and the powerful bass of the sports exhaust system begins to sound. How ecstatic will you be when the engine, with its maximum output of 350 kW (476 hp) and torque of 630 Nm, catapults the Mercedes-AMG GT from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds?

Driving Dynamics

Thanks to its AMG sports suspension and double-wishbone layout, the Mercedes-AMG GT impresses with excellent lateral dynamics and driving stability at high speeds. Using the AMG DYNAMIC SELECT controller, you adjust the handling to ideally suit the driving conditions: available for this purpose are the three preconfigured transmission modes – "C," "S," "S+" – and the individual transmission mode "I."

Mercedes-AMG GT – DESIGN.

The front end alone of the Mercedes-AMG GT exudes sheer sportiness. This is where the new AMG Panamericana grille has its place – as on all sports cars of the AMG GT family. The fastback design of the rear end emphasized the overall dynamic look. The cockpit is dominated by the AMG DRIVE UNIT. In a stylized V8 layout, it houses the main controls. AMG sports seats and AMG Performance steering wheel come as standard.
