In the Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster, the 4.0-liter V8 biturbo reaches a new level. Its maximum output is 410 kW (557 hp). Its peak torque is 680 Nm. This catapults the open-top two-seater from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds. The short ratios in 1st and 7th gears of the AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed sports transmission make for extremely dynamic acceleration. It's simply "wow!" when the standard-fit switchable AMG Performance exhaust system gives off its sound.
An incomparable feeling of driving pleasure: this is ensured by the combination of AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension, electronically controlled rear-axle limited-slip differential and new AMG rear-axle steering. They unite effortless superiority with maximum agility. Specific cooling of the engine as well as enhanced dynamics come courtesy of the new AIRPANEL active air control system.
How beautiful pure dynamics can be. Especially distinctive: the new aluminum side walls, which make the rear end of the two-seater a total of 57 millimetres wider than the GT Roadster. Equally striking are the red-painted brake calipers of the AMG high-performance composite braking system. The design idiom is carried over into the interior: the instrument panel, with its emphasis on width, gives the impression of a powerful wing.
