AMG High-Performance Braking System.
The AMG high-performance braking system with internally ventilated and perforated brake discs all around offers excellent deceleration performance and precision brake control. Aluminum brake calipers reduce the unsprung masses, improving handling and comfort as a result. On the front axle brake discs measuring 360 x 36 mm, internally ventilated and perforated with four-piston aluminum floating calipers come to use whereas the rear axle features brake discs measuring 330 x 22 mm, internally ventilated and perforated with single-piston aluminum combination floating calipers.
AMG Sports Exhaust System.
From a typical AMG, emotionally sporty sound to a restrained noise level – the acoustics of the AMG sports exhaust system adapt to the selected DYNAMIC SELECT driving mode via two variably adjustable exhaust flaps. Two chrome-plated tailpipe trim elements integrated flush into the apron in a two-pipe look ensure the appropriate look. The two electric exhaust flaps are infinitely variably controlled across the entire engine speed range by means of maps stored in the driving mode. This provides a homogeneous peak level across the entire engine speed and load ranges. The double-declutching function when shifting down, ignition suppression when shifting up, the backfire sound when shifting down and also the "rumbling" in overrun mode underscore the sportiness in the corresponding "Sport" and "Sport+" driving modes.
Design elements painted high-gloss black emphasize the expressive and sporty nature of the vehicle — from the front splitter and black fins in the front apron via the exterior mirror housings to the trim strip of the diffuser in the AMG-specific rear apron. The AMG sports exhaust system's black-chromed tailpipe trim elements integrated flush into the apron round off the emotional effect of this appearance.

The sports seats of the Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 provide improved lateral support for driver and passenger. The AMG nappa leather / DINAMICA microfiber upholstery is sun reflecting, consists of black nappa leather seats with black DINAMICA microfiber inserts and features an overall sports upholstery layout. AMG Instrument Cluster.
The AMG instrument cluster offers an exciting AMG design and valuable information for sporty drivers. The AMG main menu including RACETIMER is displayed in high resolution and in color on the central 11.4 cm TFT multifunction display. Exclusivity and sportiness are visually highlighted among other things by the speedometer with 280 km/h scale and AMG logo as well as the AMG-specific design. With the RACETIMER it is possible to time laps and store the results.

AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G Sports Transmission.
Featuring nine forward gears, this automatic transmission takes efficiency, comfort and dynamics to a completely new level. It is the world's first 9-speed automatic transmission with hydrodynamic torque converter in the premium segment. The wider gear spread allows a reduction in engine speed. Performance remains excellent while ride comfort is enhanced and noise levels are reduced. At the same time, AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G impresses with smooth, barely perceptible gear shifting like that of a continuously variable transmission. As AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G is able to skip individual gears, multiple downshifts are possible for fast and powerful sprints. With the driving modes "Economy," "Comfort," "Sport," "Sport+," or "Individual", the shift characteristics can be preset from economical to highly dynamic. Drivers with sporty inclinations can switch gears manually using the steering wheel shift paddles – much as in motor sport.
AMG Sport Suspension.
With an independently developed AMG front and rear axle, the AMG sport suspension boasts the ideal attributes for fast cornering speeds and agile handling. All of the components are matched to provide high lateral acceleration and a reduced body roll tendency. A conventional steel suspension is used, which has been optimized for sporty driving. In conjunction with the increased camber rigidity and larger negative camber compared with the standard suspension, driving stability and steering precision are guaranteed right up to the critical limits.
AMG DYNAMIC SELECT.
Comfortable, sporty, highly sporty or completely individual suspension settings can be called up at the touch of a button using DYNAMIC SELECT. The Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Individual driving modes impress with their specific configuration. With the selected driving mode, parameters such as the characteristics of engine, transmission and steering are changed to deliver an even sportier vehicle set-up, i.e., a more agile accelerator characteristic with more direct set-up, shorter shift times and a significantly more emotive feel to gear changes. The dynamic characteristics of the vehicle are assisted by additional functions such as double-declutching function, cylinder suppression, active downshift, and quick start ups in "Sport" and "Sport+" modes. The last selected driving mode remains active for four hours after switching off the vehicle, after which the standard setting of the balanced and fuel-efficient "Comfort" mode is activated. The "Individual" driving mode enables drivers to adjust the various parameters – from the steering and powertrain to the suspension – to suit their own preferences. The "M" button can be used to switch directly into manual mode, using only the steering wheel gearshift paddles to change the gears.
AMG Handling Package.
Even greater driving dynamics and even sportier vehicle handling come courtesy of the optionally available AMG Handling package. The AMG rear axle differential lock improves traction, in particular when using a sporty driving style and prevents slip at the inside driven wheel. An additional radiator in the front end – positioned in front of the main cooling module – is also designed for extreme loads, such as during race track use, and enhances performance stability. The red-painted brake calipers underscore the enhanced performance with an eye-catching feature. Even more grip in dynamic driving maneuvers is provided by the AMG Performance steering wheel in nappa leather/DINAMICA microfiber with red contrasting topstitching and red 12-o'clock marking. The AMG Handling package is complemented by the stylish analog clock in an IWC design.
