Poised for top performance: the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupé’s potential is clear right from the start. The hallmark AMG A-wing apron gives expression to its sporting dominance. A visual highlight on the front end: the diamond radiator grille with chrome inserts and chrome pins. Looking at the vehicle from the side, its 19-inch 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels make an immediate impact. The spoiler lip and diffuser, together with the air outlets, appear to press the sportster firmly down onto the road - together, they form the dynamic high point of the iconic rear end. And then, when you hear the unmistakable sound of the AMG sports exhaust system emanating from the chromed tailpipes, you know this is not a vehicle that needs to shy away from competition.

Numerous design features give the exterior an even more dynamic and athletic character. These include striking AMG body styling, made up ofan AMG front apron with distinctively sporty air intakes and a diamond-pattern grille, as well as asimulated underguard in silver chrome, AMG rear apron with silver chrome trim strip, and simulated underguard as well as 48.3 cm (19-inch) AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels painted high-gloss black with a high-sheen finish, with mixed-size tires.

AMG Sports Exhaust System.
A throaty sound characteristic of AMG or a more reserved noise level – the acoustics of the AMG sports exhaust system adjust to the selected driving mode. The double-declutching function when downshifting underscores the sporty vehicle setup in "S" mode. In "S+" driving mode, the V6 engine sound is at its most emotional – with double-declutching function and misfire in overrun mode as well as during gear shifting. The two chrome-plated tailpipe trim elements bring the sporty character of the AMG sports exhaust system to life visually. They are separated by a centerpiece, which creates a four-pipe look.
AMG Sports Braking System.

The Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupé comes standard with 48.3 cm (19-inch) AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels painted high-gloss black with a high-sheen finish, fitted with 235/55 R19 tires on the front and 255/50 R19 on the rear.
In addition, 50.8 cm (20-inch) AMG light-alloy wheels painted titanium grey with a high-sheen finish, or painted high-gloss black with a high-sheen finish are available as an optional extra. 53.3 cm (21-inch) AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels (Code 650/684) painted titanium grey with a high-sheen finish or painted high-gloss black with a high-sheen finish are also available.
With striking design elements, the Night package underscores the already sporty, expressive character of the vehicle. These include:
Simulated front underguard, fins in the AMG front and rear apron with trim strip in high-gloss black, heat-insulating, dark-tinted glass starting from the B-pillar, black chrome-plated tailpipe trim elements.
The interior reinforces the car’s consistent dynamic focus with numerous specially designed details. The color combination of sporty, functional black with red contrasting features is a characteristic element. The multifunction sports steering wheel in black leather with red contrasting topstitching featuring a flattened bottom section is ideally suited to an emphatic driving style.

The premium, sporty interior has standard equipment such as the three-spoke multifunction sports steering wheel, red seat belts and brushed stainless steel sports pedals with rubber studs. Sports seats in ARTICO faux leather/DINAMICA microfiber, AMG floor mats in black with red edging and "AMG" lettering as well as red contrasting topstitching complete the high-quality overall appearance of the interior.
The upper part of the dashboard and edge mouldings in ARTICO faux leather, controls in silver chrome and high-quality light longitudinal-grain aluminum trim add premium touches to the interior.
The Interior Light package provides an even more comprehensive lighting system for the interior, and improved visibility for the vehicle itself. The package offers indirect illumination of the footwells and handle recesses, LED rear reading lights and also courtesy and warning lights in the doors.
The sports seats in ARTICO faux leather/DINAMICA microfiber with AMG-specific seat upholstery layout do more than just emphasize characteristic AMG sportiness. More contouring and higher seat side bolsters in the front provide optimized lateral support and brace passengers during dynamic cornering.
The three-spoke nappa leather multifunction sports steering wheel with flat bottom is a fitting complement to the car’s sporty handling. The 12 ergonomic control buttons on the leather multifunction steering wheel allow the driver to control the instrument cluster display menus and the audio/COMAND display on the left. On the right, the driver can control the volume of audio devices, telephone and navigation system. The impressive look, touch, and feel also comes in part courtesy of loving details such as red contrasting topstitching, the molded grip area, steering wheel paddle shifters and the silver chrome steering wheel trim.
As an optional extra for the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupé, the driver can choose the AMG Performance steering wheel in black nappa leather/DINAMICA microfiber. It features the grip area finished in DINAMICA microfiber for even better control. The black 12-o'clock mark, a steering wheel bezel in silver chrome with "AMG" lettering, and silver-colored aluminum shift paddles round out the sporty design.
AMG Instrument Cluster.
The AMG instrument cluster, with its two large round dials and a central color multifunction display with a 13.97 cm screen diagonal, presents all the important information within the driver's field of vision. The round dials have a tube look, single glazing and a chrome frame. An ECO display helps the driver to adopt a highly fuel-efficient driving style. The speedometer is on the left with a scale that goes up to 280 km/h, and the rev counter is on the right.
The checkered flag-look for the dials and striking typography add an exceptionally sporty touch to the large displays. Bar graph displays for fuel level and coolant temperature are positioned at the bottom. Depending on the selected equipment, the speedometer may incorporate a DISTRONIC PLUS display in the form of an LED light strip. The color multifunction display shows the time and outside temperature as well as the current gear in conjunction with the 7G-TRONIC PLUS at the bottom, while the trip counter, trip information, ECO display and the animated presentation of the driver assistance systems are located in the middle of the display. The different pieces of information available on the multifunction display can be called up and edited using the buttons on the multifunction steering wheel. As soon as the vehicle enters overrun mode, an additional icon is added.
AMG Door Sill Panels.
High quality door sill panels catch your eye as you enter the vehicle. They feature “AMG” lettering and protect the entrance area, customize the look of the vehicle, and underscore the car’s heritage.
The V6 biturbo engine in the new Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupé guarantees an even more explosive start off the blocks. The engine generates 520 Nm torque from an output of 270 kW (367 hp), allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. AMG DYNAMIC SELECT offers an incomparable driving experience. 9G-Tronic With Shortened Shift Times.
Featuring nine forward gears, this automatic transmission takes dynamics, efficiency and comfort to a completely new level. It is the world's first 9-speed automatic transmission with hydrodynamic torque converter in the premium segment. The wider gear ratio allows for a reduction in engine speed. Performance remains excellent, while ride comfort is enhanced and noise levels are reduced. Fast gear changes thanks to the AMG-specific tuning result in even better response and agility. The 9G-TRONIC also impresses with smooth, barely perceptible gear shifting similar to a continuously variable transmission. The 9G-TRONIC can skip individual gears, allowing for multiple downshifts for fast and powerful sprints.
AMG Performance 4MATIC.
The performance-oriented all-wheel drive developed by Mercedes-AMG combines optimum traction, hallmark AMG driving dynamics and maximum driving pleasure, thanks to clear torque distribution to the rear. Unlike in the standard model, Mercedes-AMG distributes the engine torque in a ratio of 31% to the front axle and 69% to the rear axle. In addition, AMG 4MATIC all-wheel drive increases driving safety and traction on wet or wintry road surfaces.
A multiple-disc clutch with 50 Nm blocking effect guarantees that the full gripping potential of all four wheels is realized, especially on snow or ice. This basic concept enables high-traction values because it uses a dynamic axle load shift toward to the rear axle during acceleration for additional drive torque to the rear. In addition to traction and transverse dynamics, the all-wheel drive also improves the longitudinal dynamics of the vehicle for even more dynamic acceleration.
AMG Sports Suspension Based On AIR BODY CONTROL.
The multi-chamber air suspension system works in unison with a sporty, AMG-specific spring/damper setup and continuously variable damper control to ensure a very high standard of ridng comfort and driving dynamics. Damping at each wheel is adapted to the current driving situation and road surface conditions. Separate valves are used for damper compression and rebound for fast and precise adaptation. A harder spring rate, for example when cornering and braking, effectively reduces rolling movements. With "Comfort," "Sport" and "Sport+" settings, the driver can give the multi-chamber air suspension system a more comfortable, sporty or very sporty setup. Thanks to the pneumatic all-round self-leveling suspension, the vehicle maintains a constant level irrespective of the load. The suspension level can be raised to increase ground clearance. The suspension is automatically lowered at high speeds, helping reduce aerodynamic drag and further improve handling stability.
AMG Speed-Sensitive Sports Steering.
Speed-sensitive steering provides power assistance in line with the vehicle's speed. At high speeds the power assistance decreases, while at low speeds it is continually increased. Steering requires comparatively less effort at low speeds.
Optimum control of the vehicle is also possible at high speeds. The risk of the steering wheel being wrenched out of the driver's hands at high speeds is also substantially reduced. The selectable steering characteristics support a sporty or comfortable driving style.
