The updated exterior design is reflected in the completely redesigned front end with its AMG-specific radiator grill featuring twelve vertical slats and the enlarged central star. The rear design conveys more elegance and lightness with its new, flatter and now two-part taillights. The newly designed rear spoiler emphasizes the elegant lines and also has a positive effect on the vehicle’s aerodynamics.The exterior’s front and rear spoiler as well as light-alloy wheels and exhaust system are also perfected in the new model. The AMG-specific radiator grille with its A-shaped outline enhances the impression of road-hugging breadth, just like the flat LED headlights. Wide-ranging restyling also makes the Saloon viewed from the rear look even more muscular. These include the two-part rear lights, the new rear apron and the new diffuser insert. The interior too takes on greater sportiness with its large displays, the new AMG performance steering wheel and the AMG-specific MBUX functions. The electrified 3.0-litre engine with twin turbocharging through an exhaust-driven turbo and an electric auxiliary compressor generates 320 kW (435 PS) and a maximum torque of 520 Nm. Its EQ Boost starter generator provides an additional short boost of 16 kW of power and 250 Nm of torque and also supplies the 48 V on-board electrical system.

Systematically electrified for an outstanding driving experience – the integrated starter-alternator boosts and recovers energy, while the 48-volt on-board electrical system supplies the power consumers and the additional compressor provides torque from just above idle speed. More than a bonus: the smooth running of the six in-line cylinders.
AMG 4,0-litre V8 biturbo engine
The 4.0-litre V8 engine from Mercedes-AMG boasts explosive power delivery combined with very finely controllable power output. The twin-scroll turbochargers are positioned between the cylinder heads ("hot inner-V") for better response. Cylinder shutoff when power demand is low reduces fuel consumption.

AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G
The AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G inspires sport-loving drivers with its dynamic shifting characteristics and emotional throttle response.
