As a tribute to the legendary Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, the SLS AMG GT Coupé embodies the modern sporty interpretation of the gullwing: a long hood, a greenhouse positioned far towards the back, a short rear, a strongly V-shaped front end, a long wheelbase, a wide track. In the GT version, the SLS AMG Coupé also sets its own accents, with tinted headlights and taillights. The wing-shaped transverse fin and the cupped star on the radiator grille are in high-gloss black, as are the exterior mirrors and the fins on the hood and fenders. Following the distinctive AMG logo on the trunk are the letters “GT”.
