Either you’ve got it or you don’t: that certain something. In the SLK 55 AMG, “it” essentially comes standard. Classic roadster proportions with exclusive AMG features and a hint of the SLS AMG – this is how the compact high-performance roadster can be characterized visually. The basic shape – a long hood, a greenhouse placed far towards the back, a luscious rear – has an even more intense effect in the SLK 55 AMG due to the V-shaped AMG front apron. The wide radiator grille shows that it has been inspired by the SLS AMG. Expressively shaped side skirts draw on the design of the front end and continue it at the rear. With its distinct shape, the black diffuser insert with three fins, as well as the two chrome twin tailpipes, the SLK 55 AMG leaves a lasting impression.
