With Bernd Schneider (GER), another former winner of the popular endurance race in the south-east of Australia will be on the grid. The AMG driver is sharing the second Erebus Motorsport gullwing with Maro Engel (GER) and Austin Cindric (USA). The trio will be driving the car with starting number 63.
This year’s running of the classic endurance race in the south-east of Australia also marks the start of the Intercontinental GT Challenge. Next to the race in Bathurst, this championship, organized for the first time by SRO Motorsports Group, includes the 24-hour race of Spa (BEL), the Sepang 12 Hours (MAL) and a six-hour race at Austin in Texas, USA.
The ‘Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour’ gets underway on 7 February at 5:45 hrs (local time). In Germany, the start of the race can be watched at 19:45 hrs on Saturday evening. The official event website (www.bathurst12hour.com.au) includes a live stream and live timing.
