CUSTOMER SPORT – THE NAME SAYS IT ALL.
AMG has an illustrious racing heritage. Nevertheless, its entry into the world of customer sport presented a challenge. The move not only required the development of a competitive race car, but also the design of a completely new program.
From the beginning, we focused on one key idea: when we say customer sport, we really mean customer sport. Period. We channel everything into increasing the sporting success of our customers on the racetrack and supporting them with the best products and top-quality service.
We also made two promises: that we would not compete against our customers with an AMG factory team, and that all teams would be treated equally. Small teams receive the same support as large ones. Ambitious amateur drivers are just as welcome on the AMG Customer Sports program as well as top-class racing professionals. These principles meant that there was no guarantee that we would be able to hold our own against the established competition as a newcomer to customer sport.
However, our success speaks for itself.
